Otomomi.ai is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our growth and expansion across the Latin America region for our first-ever CARGO DELAY INSURANCE PROGRAM.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and freight forwarding, a proven track record of sales success, and a deep understanding of the Latam market.
What you’ll do:
-> Drive revenue growth by developing and executing a strategic sales plan for the region.
-> Manage the full Freight Delay Insurance Program sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing deals
-> Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and channel partners, including freight forwarders, 3PLs, logistics providers, shippers, insurance agents and brokers, etc.
-> Travel extensively throughout the Latam region to meet with clients and partners, attend industry events, and represent otonomi.ai.
-> Collaborate with our product and marketing teams to provide market feedback and contribute to our regional strategy.
What we’re looking for:
-> 5-10 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry.
-> Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
-> Proven experience in managing a sales pipeline and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
-> Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to a diverse audience.
-> Experience with marine cargo insurance is a significant plus.
-> Strong knowledge of the Latam markets, particularly in Chile, Peru, Mexico, and Brazil, and a solid interest in expanding into new markets like Colombia, Ecuador, and Argentina.
Location and Compensation:
This is a full-remote position, and candidates can be located in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Mexico, Argentina, or Miami. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, a high bonus commission structure, and the possibility of equity participation.
